Battery safety
Batteries
Use an 18650 battery whose continuous discharge rating is stated by its maker and suits the power setting.
Check the wrap and the insulating ring each time a battery is fitted.
Do not use a battery with a split or torn wrap, or one that has taken a knock, overheated or swollen.
Observe the polarity shown in the manual.

K1: resistance range 0.2 to 3 Ω.
Set a power level compatible with the coil’s resistance and the battery’s discharge rating.
Disposal
Take used batteries to a battery collection point.
